Wild Stallion Party Update!

Ok we have heard back from a few of you and some already have conflicting schedules with the 27th of December, so if everyone could get back to us and let us know what days work best for you, we will try to find a day that worked the best with everyone. How long is everyone planning on being in town? We are really excited to see everyone.

Hello from Los Angeles

Hey guys,

Wow, it has been so long since I have talked to or seen any of you. I cannot believe how many of you are married with little kids! Congrats to all of you on the marriages and births. Those are some cute kids you all have. It is weird to me to realize how different my life is compared to you guys, being a single dude and living in LA. I am definitely a few steps behind all of you in that aspect. It was so fun looking through all your blogs and seeing what you guys have been up to. Here is a quick update on my life: 

I have been at Merrill Lynch for a year and 3 months here in Los Angeles. I am a financial analyst in their Private Banking Group, and we have about 120 high-net worth clients, and manage around $4 billion dollars. Our clients are $50-100 million dollar clients, and they include movie stars, athletes, and successful business owners. It is a greab job, and a great experience, but I am getting burned out from waking up at 5 am every day and working 12-13 hours a day, 5 days a week. I think next summer I am going to leave Merrill and either go to business school, or just look for another job either here or in Utah. I have a pretty sick set up here though. I live near Santa Monica on the 16th floor of a skyrise that has a balcony that faces the ocean. I am roommates with Wyatt Benson from Rexburg.  I have an amazing ward and spend a lot of time with my calling in the E.Q. Presidency. One downfall about LA is that every band comes here, and I go to way more concerts than I probably should. I went to 2 in one week in July (Coldplay and Good Charlotte), and I have tickets to Counting Crows/Augustana and Weezer/Angels and Airwaves coming up.

Me, my bro, my sis, and 12 of my friends took a trip to Maui in May.

It is so nice living 10 minutes from the beach. I miss having Quinn here to go with me though. He and I went like every Saturday last summer when we lived together.

Multiply and Replenish?!

So the news is that Kourt in expecting a BABY! Pretty exciting. And before you all think that we just got married- we did, but if we don't have kid by next summer i will never see it once i am in Law School.

Change of Plans

I will not be going to China this summer. I have decided to stay in Hawaii and work, live with my parents for free and surf so if any of you are still planning on visiting the Islands let me know.

This is Daegan Dye trying his hardest to be a poser. Audrey and I are trying to survive being new parents. Although Daegan doesn't move much he can be a hand full sometimes. For the most part he is a pretty chill kid. As far as we go nothing new is really happening. We should be in Rexburg till the day I die...or we might be moving to Twin Falls(where the sun does shine.) I have one more year of school until I can really start making my hundreds. (NOTE) I will make hundreds, you all will make millions, and we shall forever live the law of consecration which consists of Creed buying me a new dirt bike every year and me pretending not to know that he is cheating at board games. Judging by the date on the picture, Daegan and Alaina should just about be old enough to go through with the arranged marriage.

Where's Daegan? He is getting so big now. He has mastered the roll over and we are trying to get him to crawl.

Weather, shmeather. China, shmina. No, really, I'm excited for you to go over to China. Is this still the Olympic translating deal? Beijing has gotten some guff in the past few weeks from outside athletes complaining that the air there is too dirty to compete in. Ha. I'll run for them, just give me some shoes!

Mark Walker has booked a trip to Hawaii this summer. Find out where he is staying and leave a piece of bread with old mayonnaise on his hotel pillow, no better yet, under his hotel pillow, that way he won't find it until morning.

Second Star to the Right Straight on til Morning

Aloha Boys, Wifs, almost Wifs, and little ones. This is Uncle Brian reporting from paradise. I don't want to brag so I won't mention how nice the weather is or how nice the waves and mountains are. Life is good. I still have a year until I graduate. Still studying International Business and Chinese. Some exciting news (no I am not engaged) I am going to china on an internship this summer so that should be an adventure. I probably won't be jumping on the marriage train any time soon, but I am dating so don't worry about me. I hope all is well where ever you guys are.

Bros and Wifs! As people are replying and sending me their picture of the fam, I send them the invite and 'boob'! they are made authors and members of the blog. I will send the invite to the email that you use to get me the pics. If you want you and your Wif to have separate logins then send me an email with the additional address. Then all you got to do is keep us all up to date on stuff! keep spreading the word. i am still missing any response from Jared Wall, Creed, Brad, Ken, Ben, Brock, etc. etc. etc.! I forget who all.

Almost There

I hope that everyone gets a chance to use this blog cause I think it can be a great way to keep i touch while we go all over the place with our lives. Just an update on me and mine: I am not actually married yet. Kourtney and I will be married in Portland on April 4th. As for me now, I am in NEW YORK CITY just about finished with an internship for the Church Public and International Affairs Office. We do lots of PR work in the city and positive relation work with the city's diplomatic corp both at the UN and with the Foreign Consulate Generals located in the city. I don't know where everyone is and I don't have all the current emails so here is our announcement.

Looking forward to summer

Hey everyone, It's Cam here. Thought I'd throw in a quick update on my life and what's going on. First off, for those who don't know, my wife had our baby boy, Cruz, in December of 0'7. He's a joy, and a handful. I'll try to post some pics here later, but for now, go to http://www.cameronporter.net/ to see some more.

Becky, Cruz and I will be moving to Beaverton, Oregon this summer for an internship I have with Nike Inc. I'm pretty excited about it, not only for the job, but for the 50% discount I get on everything, yeah, everything! So if you feel like taking a trip, come on over to Oregon and I'll get you a guest pass which gives you the same discount I get.

Anyways, besides school, shaved ice, babies, work, and play, life is moving on at a very fast pace. I still can't believe I have a stallion Junior that I am responsible for, but that's what makes life so enjoyable.
