The Hayes

At least I know Ben checks this thing every once in a while. We just had our second, a boy a couple of days ago. We named him Oliver. I am in my last semester of Law school and than we are moving to wherever I can find a job. Most likely Oregon. I am looking around the Bend area right now for something. I would post some pictures here but I already posted on the Hayes family blog at hayesclan.blogspot.com. I would re-post but I don't know if anyone would even see it.

I would be great to hear from any of you. I talked to Ben recently, He seems to be doing great. Hope the rest of you are the same.

The Eatons

I think this blog is dead, but I'm going to post on it anyway.

Ben (28), Jennilyn (24), Indiana (5), and Fisher (3) are now living in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. No we aren't living in a van anymore. We hooked ourselves up with a nice apartment above the garage of some young couple's cabin. At 7,000 feet elevation we are blessed with cool breezes and rad vistas.

As you can see, I've been balding. I don't know which stallion is the baldest...It's either Jameson or I. What do you think?

Over the past years, I've been able to party with Jed, Tyson, Zack, and Scott on occasions. I was able to briefly see Mark at the reunion, chatted with Ken and Creed on the phone, and poked many of the others on Facebook. I sure miss you guys and am glad that I've maintained constant contact with some of you.

From what it sounds like, most of you doctors and lawyers should be finishing up school and settling down in the next year or two. I hope that when we all get our roots set into our middle aged lives, that we can set aside some time or vacation days to interact with each other.

I was really looking forward to seeing a lot of you at the 10-Year High School Reunion. I was certain that an event like that would be a perfect time to piggy-back a Stallion Reunion. All of you have expressed the desire and dream of a Stallion Reunion. Now that the High School Reunion has passed, we will have to pursue the Stallion one by itself. Keep in mind, a Stallion reunion will require a lot of scheduling. We are dealing with over 10 different schedules. We merely can't assume that there will be a magic summer where all of our parents are conducting family reunions in Rexburg and we can piggy-back those with our own Stallion Reunion. Even if that did happen, we wouldn't have time to break away from the shinanigans and "peanut-butter-play-offs" of our own families.

So if we ever want to make a Stallion Reunion happen, we are going to need to be proactive. We need an idea of when everyone is done with all the moving around from college to college, from residency to apprenticeship, and so forth.

I'd love to see us say, "Alright, in WHATEVER MONTH of WHATEVER YEAR, the Stallions are going to invade the campground of WHATEVER NATIONAL PARK for 3-4 days." Believe it or not, but Rexburg is not the central location anymore. Creed's house is not the central location anymore. Zack's pantry of limitless cans of pop is not the central location anymore. Anyways, I'd like to see us reunite in a new land to create new memories with our new families. I love our old memories and I love Rexburg, but we need to quit looking into the past as the Stallions and plan for the future of the Stallions.

I hope all is well, and I look forward to seeing you all soon.

Tchau,

Ben Eaton

Ben Eaton has gone homeless

Does anyone use/read this blog anymore?

Well, for those that do...here is the Eaton update: (If you haven't heard about it already)

We have gone homeless...by choice. We are living out of our van and tent for the next 4 month. I hope to use facebook.com and blogger.com to stay connected with everyone and to share my stories of this adventure.

The Wall's and Stoddard's Meet

We went to visit Jared & Nicole last week. We had a lot of fun exploring Memphis and hanging out. It's great to live (sort of) close to friends!

Hayes Update

I guess I can go ahead and tell y'all our plans now that they are set. We are on our way to Jacksonville, Florida for Law school this fall. We applied all around here but to no avail. Florida Coastal actually offered me a spot and a Scholarship so its the Atlantic Coast for us. Packing for this has been a real bear!

Evelyn is 3 months old and doing great. She's a smiler! We will be here in the burg for another month then its adios. Hope to see some of you around before then.

Dalling Update

Hey everyone Here is an update from us...

We are finishing summer school next week and we will be heading to the Burg for a month before starting our last semester of school here in Moscow. I applied to do my last semester at BYU and was accepted, but have since decided to stay here. Brad is moving from Moscow, so I guess I won't be his home-teacher anymore, jajajaja that was fun while it lasted. I am the ward mission leader so I am joining the missionaries on splits here and there. Brooke is plenty busy with Paisley and all her different doctor appointments and speech therapy, etc. She is doing pretty well, except that she likes to pull her feeding tube out a lot and she hates it when we have to put it back in. Even still, I would consider her a very mild baby and she is a pretty good sport about it all. We are hoping to get the "G-Tube" which is a surgically placed button that connects a feeding tube directly to her stomach instead of going through the nasal cavity. So hopefully we can do that soon. Payton is doing really well, man she is really getting big and speaks quite well. We think she is really smart and we are quite proud. I am going to Honduras again in August and I am excited for that, but there is some civil unrest that threatens to prevent my trip (I guess they just had a military coup and their president has been exhiled...meanwhile Hugo Chavez of Venezuela is threatening to come in and restore the president). Anyway, other than that...not much else going on.

Just a couple of other things:

1) Jameson, where are you going to school? Still doing the law school route? I was hoping to see you around these parts, but I guess you decided to go somewhere else?

2) If anyone wants to go paintballing between July 20 and August 5, let me know. I have some extra guns and stuff. So far it is just Brad and I that have talked about it...but anyone else is welcome to come.

3) FYI, after great deliberation, Quinn and I decided a long time ago that the official and correct spelling of "Wrambaughl" is as follows: W r a h m n b a u g h l l l

As far as pictures go, I won't bother posting them here, you know where to find out blog. I hope everyone is doing well. Take care.
